Rachel O’Malley is a Chief Technologist, specialising in Fuel Cells, within the Hydrogen Systems organisation of GKN Aerospace.  Rachel joined GKN’s Global Technology Centre in January 2023 and supports Power Generation System activities across various programmes, from fuel cell stacks to non-CO2 emissions.  A PhD electrochemist by training, Member of the Royal Aeronautical Society and the British Women’s Pilot’s Association, Rachel brings extensive fuel cell experience from design for the automotive sector to the challenge of decarbonising aerospace.
