Byron Mason is a Senior Lecturer in Intelligent Powertrain Systems at Loughborough University in the Department of Aeronautical and Automotive Engineering.  His research interests include machine learning, adaptive and learning control, system identification and model based engineering process improvement.  He currently leads the Control and Energy Systems Research Group at Loughborough University working on a range of publicly and privately funded research projects with sponsors and collaborators from across the globe.
