Mark Grain
As Technical Director at Extreme H, the world’s first hydrogen-powered racing series, Mark Grain has reinforced the series’ commitment to pushing the boundaries of innovation and performance.
Utilising his experience spanning almost three decades across multiple racing disciplines, Grain has been instrumental in the development of the all-new championship car, the Pioneer 25, which will set a new benchmark within the automotive and racing sectors.
Preceding his current role, Grain oversaw the creation of the NEOM McLaren Extreme E team as Sporting Director and led the team in its first season of racing in 2022. Grain has enjoyed an impressive motorsport journey with plenty of winning pedigree, particularly at McLaren, with notable successes including a Formula One title, victory at the Le Mans 24 hours and IndyCar race wins – where he held numerous technical and operational roles.
